Custom Directive - Using templateUrl Property

In  Custom Directive - Using Template Via Function you saw how to use a HTML template provided by a JavaScript function. Further, we will move the HTML template content in a separate HTML file, named orderListTemplate.html. This file will be included in the directive using the templateUrl property.

The source of orderListTemplate.html:

<ol type='i'>
    <li ng-repeat='item in players'>{{item.prizemoney | currency}}</li>
</ol>

The custom directive file:

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head lang="en">
    <meta charset="UTF-8">
    <title></title>
    <script src="../angular/angular.min.js"></script>
    <style type="text/css">
    </style>
    <script>
        angular.module("appModule", [])
                .controller("appCtrl", function ($scope) {
                    $scope.players = [
                        { name: 'Nadal, Rafael (ESP)', rank: 1, age: '28', prizemoney: 66149345 },
                        { name: 'Djokovic, Novak (SRB)', rank: 2, age: '27', prizemoney: 70704129 },
                        { name: 'Federer, Roger (SUI)', rank: 3, age: '33', prizemoney: 84827704 },
